Your goal will be to provide outstanding customer service to our customers by effectively leading and managing our service team. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), you will also demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations in the field service department.

• Manage and schedule approximately 20 service technicians.

• Respond to customer service issues in a prompt manner.

• Communicate with customers through various channels.

• Create effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards.

• Develop customer satisfaction goals and coordinate with the team to meet them on a steady basis.

• Maintain accurate records and document all customer service activities and discussions.

• Thorough understanding of our manufacturing business/products (CNC machinery) so that you can assist customers with the appropriate resolution to their issue(s).

• Communicate and coordinate with team/coworkers as necessary.

• Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

• Assist in the training of new Service Engineers on the policies and procedures within the service department.

• Stay informed on the latest industry techniques and methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent manufacturing industry experience.

• A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a field service management position.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management software (Salesforce preferred).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Good understanding of management practices and techniques.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
